UNESCO conference to look at journalism’s challenges

The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is holding a meeting at its Paris headquarters to discuss “the international landscape facing media actors”.

“Media leaders, journalists, experts and Member States will have an opportunity to analyze the extent to which there is a “crisis of journalism”, and unpack the main driving forces involved,” the organisation says on its website.

The meeting on March 23, will be part of a week-long La Presse en Liberté event.
